Hey just of of interist, I see the 20mm Bumper height rule , now atm, you all know what a tank bumper looks like, the bottom of my chassis & lower tank bumper is sitting at around 15mm above the ground with the 'main' part of the bumper sitting at around 28mm , is this alright or not.
Ie the car has 15mm of clearance, the bottom 'main' bumper is 28mm from the ground.
Cheers,Chris

Tanks are measures from the mian bumpers, so you are quite safe there!

Does anyone have Any Team Associated RC10L (series) parts ? Some Trinity, Academy and Corally share the same parts. Solid rear axle, not IRS like most cars...
Its an onroad car.
Also If anyone wants to Buy any of the above parts in this thread , just make an offer.
Cheers,Chris

Awesome, swapped chassis with another guy, and I'll have my "new" chassis including more spares by the end of next week, I also should hopefully have the actual steel "frame" all modified to suit and welded up.
Say any of you chch guys make the chassis plates from either Stainless steel or Alloy Plate? If you dont then I guess I'll just have to make it myself.. (and mount all gear to that instead of using the Plastic/graphite donor chassis)

See my bits and pieces of steel, (dont worry those "plates" arent just panel steel thickness like some, these are more like 3mm thick!) With those they will provide a nice strong mounting point, and also the weight down log = better COG . Didnt end up going around to mates, but I've got it all ready so I can weld it up, can see I've give it a bit of a grind down, some of those holes will be welded up. Pwnt! Look at my nice Carbon Fibre Chassis , Also can see some of the New Bits and pieces, ESC, Superstock motor etc etc. Nice big wide wheels on the rear, provide maximum grip (I hope anyway) Just need to buy Some Batteries, and then assemble & Paint it, any suggestions on the frame colour ? (going with Yellow, Red/orange colour scheme) with a Different to usual body. What type of batteries do you guys use, also anyone got a Charger for sale? Cheers,Chris

Think Im going to stick with the Carbon fibre "base plate/chassis" for now , Is super strong, I cannot break it by bending it (cant bend very far either)
Any of you Chch guys want that old TT01 I think it was diff (red & black)
Cheers,Chris

Carbon shatters after awhile,Run a 3mm alloy plate under the car,You'll wanna probly get some Batterys over 2400mah,3300mah NIMH batterys would be the best bet thou And also that car is a TA01 or TA02 not a TT-01

Well , I've been slightly busy today, welded in all the supports, grinded down some welds etc etc (and a nice chunk out of one thumb) Chassis sits perfectly under the frame. Just need to drill holes & countersink.
Have ordered some 3300 batteries and a charger, should be here within 2-3 weeks. Have a body now, and Im making a polycarb bonnet within the next couple of days..
Cheers,Chris
